We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded planning consultancy based in Hampshire to appoint a talented Town Planner to join their growing team.
With a strong pipeline of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects across the South, this consultancy has built an excellent reputation for securing permissions across authorities including Winchester City Council, East Hampshire District Council, and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner or Senior Planner seeking more responsibility, greater client exposure, and a clear pathway for progression within a supportive consultancy environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
- Producing Planning Statements, Design & Access Statements and site appraisals
- Providing strategic advice to landowners and developers
- Managing client relationships and project timelines
- Liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders
You will play an integral role in delivering projects across South East England, working closely with senior leadership and benefiting from hands-on mentorship.
About You
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Previous consultancy or local authority experience
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Commercially aware with excellent communication skills
- Ambitious and motivated to progress your career
