Due to continued success and growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their friendly and collaborative team based in West Sussex.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning services across a varied and interesting project portfolio, working closely with clients and leading projects through the planning process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and preparing planning applications and appeals

• Providing strategic planning advice to clients

• Managing projects from inception through to determination

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

About You

The successful candidate is likely to:

• Hold a relevant Planning degree or equivalent

• Be MRTPI qualified

• Have experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment

• Possess strong report writing and communication skills

• Be confident managing projects and client relationships

• Be proactive, organised and commercially aware
