Planning Policy Officer – Interim Role – Fully Remote
Contract length: 6 months initial
Start date: Within 2 weeks
Rate: £40 per hour
Working arrangements: Fully remote

Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a local authority who are looking to appoint an interim Planning Policy Officer to support their Local Plan at Regulation 19 stage. The role will focus on progressing plan preparation, supporting evidence base work, responding to representations, and assisting with examination readiness.
The successful candidate will have prior experience working on Local Plans within a UK local authority setting, a strong understanding of the plan-making process and relevant legislation, and confidence supporting Regulation 19 and examination stages. Experience liaising with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders on policy matters will be beneficial.
Applicants should be able to work independently in a fully remote environment and add capacity to a busy policy team at a critical stage of plan production.
