The Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will assist in delivering planning work across various development projects, contributing to high-quality planning advice and support for clients.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and pre-application enquiries

Assisting with drafting planning statements and supporting documentation

Conducting site appraisals and planning policy research

Liaising with local planning authorities, consultants, and clients

Supporting appeals and planning strategy work

Attending site visits, meetings, and committee hearings as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline

RTPI membership or be working towards chartership

Some experience or placement experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment (desirable but not essential)

Strong understanding of the UK planning system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

An organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
