I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy based in Cheshire that is looking to appoint a talented Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the North West, with clear progression and strong APC support.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a broad mix of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, supporting projects from early-stage appraisals through to application and appeal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Drafting planning statements and supporting documentation
- Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy research
- Managing client relationships and project teams
- Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
About You
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Previous consultancy or local authority experience
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
