Senior Planner

📍 Birmingham City Centre | Hybrid Working
💷 £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

A well-established nationwide planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join its team based in Birmingham City Centre.

With a strong reputation across the planning sector, this consultancy advises on a wide range of projects throughout the UK. The Birmingham office is a key hub within the business and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take on greater responsibility while working within a supportive and highly regarded team.

The role

  • Managing and delivering planning applications and appeals

  • Providing clear, commercially minded planning advice to clients

  • Liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders

  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team

About you

  • MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership

  • Experience within consultancy and/or local authority planning

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable managing projects with a high level of autonomy
