An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Town Planner to join a well-established and growing planning team in the North East of England. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to begin their career in planning, with strong support, training, and long-term progression on offer.
The Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you will support senior planners on a wide range of projects across the public and/or private sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications

Supporting planning appeals and site appraisals

Undertaking research and policy analysis

Liaising with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders

Contributing to written reports and planning statements
About You

A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited or working towards)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A genuine interest in planning and development
-
Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Some relevant work experience or a placement year is advantageous, but not essential
