📍 The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Planner / Senior Planner to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team in Glasgow. You’ll provide expert town planning consultancy across a diverse portfolio of sectors—supporting clients in both the public and private realms with strategy, applications, appeals and planning advice. Whether you’re ready to step into a senior position or advance further, this role gives you the platform to shape exciting developments and take the lead in delivering results.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present expert planning advice clearly in written and verbal forms.
• Develop planning strategies and coordinate with clients and project teams.
• Manage and negotiate planning applications and appeals through all relevant stages.
• Prepare Planning Statements and associated reports and appraisals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policy, legislation and guidance.
• Engage effectively with technical consultants and stakeholders to support project delivery.

👤 About You

• RTPI-accredited planner with at least 5 years’ post-accreditation experience in consultancy or planning practice.
• Proven track record advising on major developments and navigating planning processes.
• Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Confident working independently and managing client relationships.
• Full clean driving licence is desirable to support travel as required.
