📍 The Role
We’re partnering with a well-established planning consultancy that works closely with clients to deliver development projects of all sizes and complexities. This is an opportunity for a proactive Planning Consultant to join a growing UK-wide team, managing projects from early strategy through to successful delivery. You’ll be trusted to hit the ground running, take ownership of workstreams, and contribute to innovative, pragmatic planning solutions.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Manage planning projects from initial conception through to successful conclusion
- Secure and negotiate planning consents
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders
- Apply sound planning judgement, policy knowledge and legal precedent
- Contribute creative and practical solutions to complex planning challenges
👤 About You
- 3–5+ years’ planning experience gained in the public or private sector
- MRTPI qualified
- Strong understanding of planning policy, case law and development processes
- Confident, self-starting professional with excellent client-facing skills
- A creative problem-solver who enjoys uncovering opportunities and delivering unexpected solutions
