Senior / MRTPI Town Planner – Cardiff
We’re partnering with a highly regarded planning consultancy in Cardiff that is looking to appoint an MRTPI Town Planner to strengthen their growing Welsh planning team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, regeneration, and mixed-use developments throughout South Wales and beyond.
The Role
- Managing planning applications from inception through to determination
- Leading on planning strategy and providing expert advice to clients
- Preparing and reviewing planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation
- Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams
- Mentoring junior planners and contributing to team development
About You
- MRTPI qualified
- Proven experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
- Strong knowledge of the Welsh and UK planning system
- Confident communicator with excellent report-writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships
