Town Planner – North West (Manchester and Surrounding areas)
We’re working with a well-established planning consultancy/local authority in the North West that’s looking to appoint a Town Planner to support a growing workload of exciting projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
This is a great opportunity for a planner who wants exposure to varied schemes, clear progression, and a supportive team environment.
The Role
- Managing and supporting a range of planning applications and appeals
- Providing planning advice to clients and stakeholders
- Undertaking site appraisals and policy research
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and the wider project team
- Contributing to planning statements and reports
About You
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- RTPI accredited (or working towards chartership)
- Experience within a consultancy or local authority setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the UK planning system
