🌟 Graduate Planner – Leicester

Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) + benefits
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for shaping sustainable, vibrant communities? We’re working with a leading planning and development consultancy in Leicester, who are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Planner to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate looking to kick-start their career in town planning, urban regeneration, or development consultancy.

The Role

As a Graduate Planner, you’ll work alongside experienced planning professionals on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
• Conducting research and policy analysis
• Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
• Contributing to planning statements, design & access statements, and reports

You’ll be supported through your RTPI chartership and encouraged to develop both technically and professionally in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A recent graduate (or soon to graduate) with a degree or master’s in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Geography, or a related field
• Passionate about planning, place-making, and sustainable development
• A strong communicator with excellent written and analytical skills
• Highly organised, with attention to detail and a proactive approach

Previous placement or internship experience in a planning environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
