Location: Cardiff (Hybrid working available)

We’re partnering with a respected planning and development team in Cardiff who are seeking an Associate Planner to help drive forward their growing portfolio of exciting projects across South Wales and the South West.
The role:
As an Associate Planner, you’ll take a leading role in delivering a broad range of planning projects — from large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes to strategic land and regeneration developments. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and play an active role in business development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing complex planning applications, appeals, and development plan representations
- Providing expert planning advice to clients, landowners, and stakeholders
- Overseeing project delivery, budgets, and timelines
- Supporting team growth and client relationships through networking and business development
About you:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds MRTPI status (or equivalent professional qualification)
- Has proven experience delivering successful planning projects across a range of sectors
- Possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
- Is commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
