Are you a driven and detail-oriented Town Planner looking for your next challenge in a beautiful and dynamic part of the country? We're working closely with a well-regarded organisation in the Gloucestershire area who are looking to expand their planning team due to continued growth in demand.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects – from strategic housing and mixed-use developments to regeneration and conservation schemes. You'll be working with a team of experienced planners, engaging with both public and private sector clients, and playing a key role in shaping sustainable, vibrant communities across the county.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and preparing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents

  • Advising clients on planning policy and development strategy

  • Conducting site appraisals and liaising with local authorities

  • Representing clients at planning committees and public consultations

  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field

  • MRTPI qualified (or working towards)

  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system and local Gloucestershire context

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
