Are you a driven and detail-oriented Town Planner looking for your next challenge in a beautiful and dynamic part of the country? We're working closely with a well-regarded organisation in the Gloucestershire area who are looking to expand their planning team due to continued growth in demand.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects – from strategic housing and mixed-use developments to regeneration and conservation schemes. You'll be working with a team of experienced planners, engaging with both public and private sector clients, and playing a key role in shaping sustainable, vibrant communities across the county.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and preparing planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents

Advising clients on planning policy and development strategy

Conducting site appraisals and liaising with local authorities

Representing clients at planning committees and public consultations

Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development
What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning or a related field

MRTPI qualified (or working towards)

Strong understanding of the UK planning system and local Gloucestershire context

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
