I am currently working with a Local Authority in the Devon region who are looking for a Planning Officer to join their Development Management team. This role will focus on managing a caseload of householder and smaller application types.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of planning applications, pre-applications, and other relevant applications, mainly householder and smaller-scale.
- Determining applications in line with national and local planning policy, legislation, and neighbourhood plans.
- Ensuring decisions are made efficiently and within statutory deadlines.
- Contributing to other areas of work within the Planning Service where required.
Contract: 3 months
Rate: £40 per hour
Hours: Full-time
