Transport Planner

Location: Sheffield

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of the UK's leading employee-owned planning-led practices, providing tailored multidisciplinary advice to their clients across the development sector.

They are looking for a Transport Planner to join their friendly and busy team. The role will be based at the Sheffield office however, the team are spread across a number of their offices and work closely together on a wide range of projects for public sector, private and community clients and across all sectors. They also work flexibly with colleagues at other offices on any projects right across the country.



Candidates are required to have:
  • A degree in either Civil Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning, and a good understanding of Transport Planning.
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience of working in the field of Transport Planning.
  • Good interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
  • The ability to manage and prioritise projects on a day-to-day basis
  • Have a working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, TRICS, AutoCAD, Excel
  • Have excellent written skills, verbal, and technical skills appropriate to your role
  • Have experience of providing written reports such as Transport Assessments / Travel Plans
  • Have team spirit and an ambition to make a very real contribution to a young and growing business on a day-to-day basis
