Town Planner - Central London | Consultancy Environment | Up to £45,000 + Benefits

Location: London Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Planning & Built Environment

Are you a talented Town Planner with a passion for shaping places and delivering sustainable, design-led development? I'm working with a globally respected consultancy known for delivering cutting-edge urban and infrastructure projects, and they're looking to strengthen their London-based planning team with a dynamic and forward-thinking professional.

The Role



You'll be joining a multidisciplinary team that plays a pivotal role in some of the most high-profile developments in the UK and beyond. Working on a variety of exciting and complex projects - from urban regeneration to major infrastructure - you'll be involved across the planning lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility through to delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing planning advice to public and private sector clients

Preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documentation

Leading or supporting on planning appraisals, EIA processes, and policy work

Working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists

Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and the wider community

About You



This role will suit someone with:

A degree (and ideally a master's) in Town Planning or a related discipline

MRTPI qualification or working towards it

Strong understanding of the UK planning system and London-specific policy frameworks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a collaborative attitude
