What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading or supporting a wide range of planning projects, from strategic planning to development management
  • Preparing, submitting and managing planning applications and appeals
  • Providing sound planning advice to clients, stakeholders and internal teams
  • Leading stakeholder engagement, public consultation and negotiation with local authorities
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
  • Staying up to date with planning legislation and policy to ensure high-quality outputs

You'll be joining a dynamic and collaborative team that works across some of the UK's most exciting and complex projects. The Edinburgh office is a key hub for planning, urban design, engineering, and environmental services, offering integrated solutions to clients in both public and private sectors.

About You
  • MRTPI qualified (or eligible)
  • Significant experience in a planning consultancy, local authority or development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Scottish planning policy and legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
