I am currently working with a Local Authority in the Midlands area who are seeking a Senior Planning Officer to support a busy Development Management team handling a varied caseload of residential and commercial applications.



Applications may range from 30 units up to 400 units, and could include Planning Performance Agreements (PPAs).



The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and operate with minimal supervision, so previous senior-level local authority experience is essential.



Key Details:

• Mixed caseload of residential and commercial planning applications
• Opportunity to lead on PPAs and complex schemes
• Monthly planning committee
• Occasional team workshops every few months
• Site visits required
• Flexible office attendance - ideally once a week but open to discussion

This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner looking for a flexible, senior-level role within a supportive team.



This is a 6-month contract, at £45 an hour, however, I am happy to speak to you about your salary expectations.
