Fully Remote Town Planner - Scotland-Based Projects £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Benefits | Permanent | Fully Remote (UK-Based)

Are you a seasoned Town Planner looking for the flexibility of fully remote work while contributing to high-profile projects across Scotland? We are currently supporting a long-established and respected planning and design consultancy in their search for an experienced Town Planner to join their dynamic team - from anywhere in the UK.

The Role



You'll be joining a well-supported planning team with a strong pipeline of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments throughout Scotland. With a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping sustainable and ambitious projects, all while working from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage a diverse portfolio of planning applications and appeals

Provide strategic advice to private and public sector clients

Conduct site appraisals and prepare high-quality planning statements and reports

Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients

Support junior planners and contribute to team development

About you:



MRTPI qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience

Strong understanding of Scottish planning policy and regulations

Excellent communication, report writing, and client liaison skills

Confident working independently while contributing to a wider virtual team

Comfortable with remote working technology and self-management
