I am currently working with a Local Authority in the Devon area that is seeking an experienced Principal Forward Planning Officer to support the delivery of their new Local Plan.

This is a 6-month contract (with the potential to extend, subject to review) to assist in the preparation of the new Local Plan, including reviewing the draft consultation document, selecting site options, and procuring technical evidence.

The role can be carried out predominantly remotely, with occasional office attendance if needed. You will be required to attend the office initially to collect IT equipment, meet the team, and become familiar with internal processes.

The rate is £45 per hour, but I'm happy to discuss your expectations.
