Team: Planning Delivery – Academy and Enabling Team

Salary: £27,711 - £30,060 per annum - Pay Award Pending

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: You will be expected to attend a CBC office location as often as needed to carry out your role, which will be no less than once per month - You will also be required to travel across Bedfordshire as needed to carry out your role.

Contract type: Hybrid - Permanent

We are looking for an organised, forward thinking and hard-working candidate with a strong interest in the Planning system and are interested in shaping the places and communities of the future. You will be responsible for managing a rewarding caseload of diverse planning applications. You don’t have to have any work experience or formal specialist qualification. To apply you will need to have an interest in planning, achieved or be completing a degree in a relevant subject, and hold a valid driving licence and access to a car as travel is essential.

 

We are a friendly and supportive team, using flexible working practices. The Council expects the highest standards of customer service, maintaining the Planning Delivery Team’s Customer Service Excellence Standard.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • A degree in a relevant subject
