Salary: £43,312 to £46,318 (pay award pending).  We would consider a market supplement for the right candidate.

The job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly capable Principal Policy Planner in Hart District Council’s Planning Policy and Economic Development Team.

We are embarking on a new local plan for Hart to be prepared at pace under the new local plan-making system.  We are keen to attract a great applicant to help us achieve this, and we would consider a market supplement for the right candidate.

Hart is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the UK.  A strong demand for more development and a mix of rural and urban planning issues make Hart an exciting place to work.

The applicant

The key requirements for the role are:

·       A current member of the RTPI

·       Demonstrable and wide-ranging post qualification experience in planning policy / local plan preparation
