WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Planning Consultant, you will support senior staff on a variety of planning projects, providing direct advice to clients, and assisting with planning submissions and reports. You will play an integral part in the planning process, from project inception through to completion.

  • Assist senior staff in driving large projects forward
  • Manage smaller planning applications independently
  • Conduct research and analysis, producing planning appraisals
  • Prepare planning reports, applications, and environmental statements
  • Liaise with planning officers, consultees, and third-party stakeholders
  • Develop creative and original solutions to planning challenges
  • Take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion  

 

PLANNING CONSULTANT - DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant field with a genuine interest in planning
  • Strong understanding of planning principles and policies
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships
  • Motivated and eager to develop professionally
