Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projects
  • Preparing consent applications and managing specific aspects of projects
  • Leading the planning consenting process from feasibility, pre-application, examination, and implementation phases
  • Collaborating with engineers, environmental teams, and communication specialists
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Producing outputs required to support infrastructure consenting or production of planning policy


Job Requirements:

  • Degree and/or masters in Town Planning, with Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant planning legislation and planning policy
  • Experience in producing consent strategies, application documents, and evidence base documents
  • Proven project management skills with a successful record in planning and delivery
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and client relationship management skills
  • Commercial and financial management experience
  • Business development capabilities, including successful bidding for work
