Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projects
  • Preparing consent applications and taking responsibility for specific project aspects
  • Drafting reports and meeting with clients or key stakeholders
  • Leading the planning consenting process from feasibility to implementation
  • Developing consents strategies and application documents
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Ensuring project delivery aligns with clients' objectives and timescales


Job Requirements:

  • Degree and/or master's in Town Planning and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policy
  • Experience supporting infrastructure consenting processes
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues and manage client relationships
  • Strong project management skills with a track record in planning and delivery
  • Commercial and financial acumen in project management
  • Experience in business development and bidding for work
