Graduate Town Planner - Southampton

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for urban planning and development?
We are seeking a motivated and driven Graduate Town Planner to join a prestigious planning consultancy in their vibrant Southampton office. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to kick-start their career in the planning industry and gain valuable experience working with a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting senior planners in preparing planning applications and assessments for a diverse range of developments.
  • Undertaking site appraisals, research, and feasibility studies.
  • Assisting in the preparation of planning reports, design documents, and environmental assessments.
  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Gaining exposure to policy development, strategic planning, and development control processes.


About You:
  • A recent graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • Enthusiastic about the built environment and urban development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of planning software and Microsoft Office is desirable.
