I am currently working with a Local Authority in the Surrey area that is looking for an experienced Development Management Manager to join their Planning team during a key period of transformation.

Key Focus Areas:

• Leading the integration of the Technical Support Team back into Planning
• Potential team redesign and involvement in a restructure
• Providing technical support and training
• Overseeing the day-to-day management of the Development Management teams
• Supporting the Assistant Director of Planning in delivering a Planning Improvement Plan

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office, plus attendance as required for meetings
Contract: 3 months initially, with strong potential for extension
Rate: £70 per hour (via umbrella)

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-impact project and contribute to long-term service improvements.
