THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – TOWN PLANNING ROLE: As Associate Director, you’ll lead on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, and mixed-use. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality delivery of planning advice. Crucially, you’ll also drive business development—bringing in new work through networking, proposals, and building lasting client relationships.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – TOWN PLANNING ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

MRTPI qualified with strong consultancy or private sector experience

Demonstrable success in business development and client growth

Commercially aware with excellent project leadership skills

Strong written and verbal communication

In-depth understanding of the UK planning system
