Job title: Assistant Town Planner

Location: London

Salary: Competitive

An exciting role has opened in London with a well known planning consultancy who are looking to appoint an Assistant Town Planner within their team.

My client covers a wide range of projects across the region from EIA Planning, Infrastructure based projects and socio economics.

Your roles and responsibilities would be the following:-


- Supporting the team in the delivery of a variety of planning projects including assisting with all aspects of advice, planning applications and appeals
- Researching and analysing planning policy and decisions, preparing representations to emerging policy and local plans
- Drafting reports, advice notes, planning statements and pre-application letters
- Preparing and submitting applications on the planning portal and monitoring applications
- Attending meetings and taking minutes

I'm looking for candidates to have the relevant experience:-
  • Degree within Town Planning where you can apply for RTPI charteredship
  • Positive, hard-working attitude
  • Enjoys responsibility and integrating/collaborating with other teams
  • Understanding of the UK planning system
  • Relevant work experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
