About the Company:

My client, a specialist consultancy dedicated to providing expert advice in the field of cultural heritage and archaeology, is looking for a Principal Consultant to join the team. They have a deep understanding of the UK's heritage policy and legislative frameworks and work on for projects across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure development.



The Role as a Principal Heritage Consultant
  • Lead and manage the built heritage team.
  • Handle high-profile, complex projects, from research and drafting to providing expert planning advice.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Attend meetings and prepare planning appeals and other key project documentation.
  • Mentor and support team members.
  • This role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a team.




What We're Looking for as a Principal Heritage Consultant
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the UK policy and legislative framework for archaeology and built heritage.
  • Can translate research themes into practical project solutions.
  • Holds a degree in archaeology, architecture, conservation, or a related field.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and a passion for innovation.
