Principal Town Planner | Planning Consultancy | Manchester
I'm currently working with a growing multidisciplinary consultancy who are looking to bring a Principal Town Planner into their Manchester office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to take on a senior position within an ambitious business, working on a varied portfolio of development projects across the North West and wider UK.
The Role:
- Taking the lead on complex planning applications and strategic development projects.
- Providing high-level planning advice to developers, landowners and investors.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
- Preparing and reviewing planning statements, appraisals and appeal documentation.
- Working closely with internal teams and external consultants.
- Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team.
What They're Looking For:
- MRTPI qualified.
- Significant experience within a planning consultancy or local authority.
- Strong knowledge of planning policy, legislation and development management.
- Experience managing complex projects and client relationships.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
- Someone looking to take on more responsibility and play a key role in a growing team.
