Town Planner | Birmingham
I'm currently partnering with an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to add a Town Planner to their expanding planning team.
The business has built a fantastic reputation within the industry and works on a broad range of projects, from residential developments and urban regeneration through to commercial schemes and strategic land promotion.
A bit about the role:
- Working on a variety of planning applications and development proposals.
- Preparing planning appraisals, statements and supporting reports.
- Advising clients on planning policy and development potential.
- Building relationships with local authorities, developers and consultants.
- Taking ownership of projects from initial instruction through to determination.
What are they looking for?
- Experience working within the UK planning system.
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership would be advantageous.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive individual who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
