Graduate Town Planner

Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in town planning? We are working with established planning consultancies across the UK who are looking to recruit enthusiastic Graduate Town Planners to join their growing teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of projects, develop your technical planning skills and work alongside experienced professionals within the planning consultancy sector.
The Role
- Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Undertake planning policy research and site appraisals.
- Support the preparation of planning statements, reports and appeal documentation.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities and other project stakeholders.
- Contribute to residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects.
- Develop your knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy and procedures.
Requirements
- An RTPI-accredited MSc in Town Planning is essential.
- A relevant undergraduate degree.
- A genuine interest in town planning and the built environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research, analytical and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
