Rate: £45–£50 per hour
Contract: 6 months
Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote, with attendance on-site as and when required

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery and management of complex minor and small major planning applications. The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously in a predominantly remote capacity, while attending the office or site visits when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex minor and small major planning applications from submission through to determination.
  • Assess applications against local and national planning policies, relevant legislation and material planning considerations.
  • Prepare clear, robust and defensible planning reports and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and consult with statutory consultees, internal departments, developers, agents and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate amendments to proposals to address planning concerns and secure appropriate development outcomes.
