Planning Enforcement Officer – West Midlands

💰 Rate: £45–£55 per hour

We’re currently seeking an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer for a 6-month contract with a local authority in the West Midlands.

We’re looking for someone with strong practical experience across the full planning enforcement process, including:
Investigating and managing planning breaches
Serving and dealing with site notices
Preparing and progressing enforcement cases
Handling planning appeals
Working confidently with legislation, policies and enforcement procedures
Managing a varied caseload independently

The ideal candidate will have solid local authority planning enforcement experience and be able to hit the ground running. Strong communication, case management and decision-making skills are essential.
💰 £45–£55 per hour
💷 £4,400–£5,300 estimated monthly take-home after tax*
📅 6-month contract
⏰ Up to 8 weeks flexibility for the right candidate
