A local authority is looking to appoint an experienced CIL Manager or Principal CIL Officer on an interim basis to support the management and delivery of its Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong CIL experience to join a busy team and play a key role in overseeing CIL processes, developer contributions, and associated planning obligations. Previous management experience would be highly desirable; however, experienced CIL professionals looking to step into a management role are also encouraged to apply.

Key Details:

  • 6-18 month contract
  • December/January start (flexible)
  • £50-£60 per hour, dependent on experience (potentially higher for exceptional candidates)
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
  • Potential for the role to be outside IR35
