Requirements
- Previous experience working within transport planning/transport consultancy
- Experience at Senior Transport Planner level or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of transport planning principles and industry guidance
- Experience producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Knowledge of relevant UK transport planning policies and standards
- Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects and work effectively with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Relevant degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline is desirable
Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering a range of transport planning projects
- Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Undertaking transport analysis and assessing development impacts
- Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders
- Providing transport planning advice throughout the planning process
- Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing technical work
- Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing project timescales, budgets and deliverables
