CIL & Infrastructure Project Manager - Midlands
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CIL Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) projects. The role will involve managing projects from planning and funding through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with relevant policies and regulations.
Also responsible for supporting the successful adoption and implementation of CIL (Communication and Interaction Learning) across the district. The role will coordinate schools, staff and key stakeholders, provide guidance and resources, monitor progress, and help ensure consistent and effective use of CIL across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CIL-funded and infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with planning, finance, highways, housing, and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, budgets, programmes, and risk registers.
- Monitor CIL income, allocations, expenditure, and project delivery.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and recommendations for senior management and committees.
- Manage consultants, contractors, and delivery partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procurement, and governance requirements.
- Monitor project performance, resolve issues, and provide regular progress updates.
