We’re currently representing a well-established planning consultancy in Manchester that is looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of an experienced Planning Consultant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their planning career and gain exposure to a wide range of development projects across the North West.

The role will involve:

• Managing planning applications from inception through to determination

• Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential

• Preparing planning appraisals, statements and reports

• Liaising with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders

• Supporting business development and client relationships

• Attending site visits and planning meetings

• Working across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects

We’re looking for:

• Experience within a planning consultancy or local authority

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Good commercial awareness

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• MRTPI qualification or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
