Town Planner

Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 + benefits

We’re working with a growing planning consultancy in Brighton who are looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their expanding team.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, advising clients throughout the planning process.

The role

• Managing planning applications from submission to determination.

• Preparing planning statements and policy assessments.

• Liaising with clients, local authorities and consultants.

• Attending meetings, site visits and planning committees.

• Supporting junior team members where appropriate.

About you

We’re looking for someone with 2–5 years’ UK planning experience, ideally within consultancy. MRTPI or progress towards chartership would be advantageous.
