Carrington West are assisting their local authority client in the search for a Planning Policy Manager to join their Town Planning department on an initial 6-month contract.
We are looking for a Policy Manager to provide strategic leadership and direction for Strategic Planning and Strategic Transportation Services, in pursuing the corporate vision of the Council and in responding positively to opportunities for change and innovation in the delivery of services. The candidate will provide leadership across the following, Local Plan, Place and Design, and Cross Border planning team.
We are looking for a confident and experienced Planning Policy Manager to support the council and senior leadership team in the development of a new local plan. We are looking for candidates with both technical and management experience, to lead, coordinate and prepare the team through the next stages of their local plan. The council are currently preparing for submission and are looking for additional support to help lead through the consultation phase.

Carrington West Pay Rate - £550per/day (Negotiable depending on experience)
