Planning Consultant – Bristol | £38,000–£48,000

We’re currently recruiting for a Planning Consultant to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, with exposure to residential, commercial and strategic development schemes throughout the South West.

The role:

• Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications

• Provide planning advice to private and public sector clients

• Undertake planning policy research and site assessments

• Prepare planning statements and supporting documents

• Liaise with local planning authorities and external consultants

• Manage multiple projects and contribute to wider team objectives

About you:

• 2–4 years’ UK planning experience

• Relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

• Good understanding of the UK planning system

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Consultancy or local authority experience desirable

• RTPI membership or working towards MRTPI would be advantageous
