Duties for the role of Associate Town Planner:
- Lead and contribute to planning projects from inception through to determination and, where appropriate, implementation
- Develop and deliver planning strategies for a range of complex development projects
- Prepare and review planning applications, planning statements, representations, appeals and other planning documentation
- Undertake planning policy research, site appraisals, development feasibility assessments and planning risk reviews
- Provide clear, commercially aware planning advice to clients
- Monitor changes in planning policy, legislation and case law and assess their implications for clients and projects
Requirements for the role of Associate Town Planner:
- RTPI accredited Town Planning degree or another related discipline
- Achieved RTPI chartered status
- Significant post qualification experience within the UK planning system
- Excellent commercial awareness and project management capabilities
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Have a collaborative approach to projects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Live within a commutable distance to the Bristol area
