The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects, working closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll be involved in both strategic and development-led planning, providing expert advice and leading on applications and appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing planning applications and appeals
- Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
- Preparing high-quality planning reports and supporting documents
- Managing client relationships and contributing to business development
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional growth
- Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
About You
- MRTPI Chartered (essential)
- Proven experience in a consultancy or private sector planning role
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and procedures
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
