Senior Town Planner – North West England

£40,000 – £45,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Town Planner to join a highly regarded nationwide planning consultancy with an excellent reputation across the industry.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Planner looking to take the next step in their career, joining an established consultancy with a strong pipeline of work, a diverse client base and a supportive team environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects, take ownership of your own caseload and work closely with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you’ll provide planning advice across a range of projects, manage planning applications and appeals, undertake planning research and prepare reports and supporting documentation.

You’ll also play an important role in developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the wider team.

About You

• Previous experience within town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• MRTPI or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous

• Experience managing your own projects and caseload

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confident dealing with clients and stakeholders

• A proactive approach and ambition to progress your career
