Senior Town Planner – Newcastle City Centre

An established and highly respected nationwide planning consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing team in Newcastle City Centre.

The Role

As a Senior Town Planner, you’ll be involved in a broad range of planning projects, providing planning advice to clients, managing planning applications and appeals, preparing reports and working closely with local authorities and other stakeholders.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build strong client relationships and play an important role within the wider Newcastle team.

About You

• Previous experience within town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment

• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

• MRTPI or working towards Chartered status would be advantageous

• Experience managing your own caseload and projects

• Strong communication and report-writing skills

• Confident working with clients and other stakeholders

• A proactive approach with ambitions to progress your career
