Due to continued growth, this established Planning Consultancy are looking to appoint a Town Planner to work out of their Buckinghamshire based team. The successful Town Planner will be assisting Senior staff with the delivery of expert planning services to their clients, predominantly in the residential and commercial sectors.
Qualifications:
In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc (or equivalent) and ideally a further MSc in an appropriate RTPI planning discipline. It is anticipated that the successful Town Planner will have a minimum of two year's experience in the sector and will be working towards / recently achieved Chartered RTPI status.
Duties:
- Working alongside Senior staff to prepare planing applications and appeals for a variety of development types
- Liaising with clients and local authorities
- Undertaking research and analysis
- Attending site visit's
- Keeping an up to date knowledge of the UK planning system
