Duties for the role of Associate Town Planner include:
- Develop and implement planning strategies and policies to projects across the UK
- Manage planning applications and appeals inline with local policies and legislations
- Carry out site visits, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
- Liaise with local communities, businesses and government agencies to build and maintain strong working relationships
Skills and experience for the role of Associate Town Planner:
- Relevant degree within town planning
- RTPI accredited or working towards chartership
- Significant post qualification experience in a Planning role within a local government or consultancy
- Working knowledge of the planning process and systems
- Previous experience mentoring junior members of staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
