I'm currently working with a well-established consultancy in Shrewsbury that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use and rural developments, while playing a key role in delivering planning advice to an impressive client base.
The Role:
- Managing a diverse range of planning applications and appeals.
- Providing planning advice to clients from project inception through to determination.
- Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Mentoring junior members of the planning team where appropriate.
What They're Looking For:
- MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving chartership).
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy or the private sector.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach.
